If cheap earrings make your ears sore, the usual culprit is nickel in the metal or a plating that wears through. Everything here is solid sterling silver all the way through: 92.5% silver alloyed with copper, from a UK supplier whose metals meet the UK and EU nickel-release regulations. There is no plating to wear off and no base metal underneath. That is why sterling silver is a good choice for sensitive ears, and why most of my customers with reactive ears wear these every day. Every piece is handmade from recycled sterling silver in my Nottingham studio. If you know you react to silver itself, which is rare, this will not be the answer, and I would rather tell you that than sell you a pair.
