Hi, I'm Anna

I make every piece you see at Nine Two Five Silver. There's no team — just me, a workbench in Nottingham, a row of pliers in various states of usefulness, and a kettle that's permanently on.
I'm not a brand. I'm one person in a small studio, with an absurd amount of half-finished pieces piled up around me at any given moment.
How this started
I took a silversmithing course at the brilliant Nottingham Jewellery School on a whim and fell completely in love with the process — cutting, filing, soldering, hammering metal into something that came alive in my hands. After a few more courses I had so much jewellery even I couldn't wear it all, so I started making things for friends, then for friends of friends, then for strangers on the internet. And here we are.
A few things that matter to me
- Recycled silver wherever possible. The metal has been through several lifetimes already — spoons, other rings, industrial scraps. Now it's yours.
- No factories, no minimums. Every piece is made to order or in small batches. Rings are made to your size. If you want something custom, just ask.
- Plastic-free packaging. Card, paper, anti-tarnish strip, done.
- Real prices. I price for what something costs to make, with enough margin to keep doing this. Not “luxury jewellery” prices, not “deliberately cheap” prices — somewhere honest.
Wait — what does “Nine Two Five” mean?
The number you see stamped on real silver — 925 — means the metal is 92.5% pure (the other 7.5% is copper, for strength). That's sterling silver. So Nine Two Five Silver is a play on the number, plus a nod to the Dolly Parton classic — because making this stuff full-time is the dream.
